FEEDING TUBE

A feeding tube is a very soft and flexible tube made of non-pyrogenic TBC materials, which include medical grade, which is transparent.

The tip and smooth surface of the feeding tube provide minimal tissue damage and maximum comfort for the patient. This tube is inserted through the nose for short-term use, and sometimes these tubes are used for short periods in the stomach or small intestine.

A feeding tube is non-surgical and temporary, and whether the tube is placed in the nose or stomach of the patient depends entirely on whether your patient can tolerate feeding in the stomach. These tubes should be removed after four to six weeks to prevent complications such as sinusitis or tissue breakdown inside the nasal cavity.

The MTM feeding tube is available in 2 types: green size
6 and blue size 8.
